dried black eyed peas
1 onion, chopped
chopped garlic, to taste
1 can rotel tomatoes with chilies
salt and pepper to taste
Soak peas overnight in water. Drain and put in pot. Cover with water. Add all ingredients and cook until tender.
Food always puts a smile on my face. It is something that comforts me, it fills that space of boredom, it is there with me at celebrations and it creates moments to share with family and friends. You must have food to live. This is a place to put some of my favorite recipes. Some healthy and some not so healthy.
